The knife collection ABSOLUTE ML, designed Carsten Gollnick, has not only been awarded the iF product design award 2007 recently, but now also picked up the highly-prized iF gold award. The international top-class jury stated in its laudation: “ABSOLUTE ML is technologically sophisticated with handles that feel good to the touch. A harmonious product - everything fits – quite literally a cut above the rest”.
Solicut and the well-known designer Carsten Gollnick created the stunning knife series ABSOLUTE ML in close co-operation.
By razor-sharp "Damascus" style blades with an extra hard V-Gold-10 core, an outstanding, durable cutting performance is achieved. The beautifully grained blades slide completely effortlessly through all kinds of food. Thanks to special PräziVAC® and ice hardening, ABSOLUTE ML knives reach a hardness of 61 ± 1 HRC.
The ergonomic handles consist of a laser-hardened special plastic compound, bonded together in individual layers. Thus both a slip-proof and at the same time optically interesting structure is achieved. The so called "full tang look" enhances the noble impression of these knives perfectly.
ABSOLUTE ML knives are corrosion resistant, but they should generally be cleaned and maintained by hand only, to preserve their beauty and their high performance permanently.
