The black granite mortal and pestle was inspired by a visit to Southern India in January 2000 where he worked with local stonemasons. The shape was influenced by a traditional Indian mortar and pestle. Hand made of black indian granite the feel and weight adds to the charm and beauty of this rustic piece.
